Summer Gardening in South Florida - What to Plant?!
This is how we like to do things in our summer gardens! Because our summer sun is so strong during the months of May through September, it’s important to be conscious of what we put in our garden that will be the greatest benefit to our soil. Especially for those who are out of town this time of year! Summer is a great opportunity to replenish the microbes back into your garden so that your favorite winter crops will thrive when Fall rolls around again! It’s all about creating balance.
Urban Abundance is helping South Florida residents transform any yard or lawn into a beautiful, and functional edible landscape.
Fruit trees, vegetable gardens, food forests, pollinator plants, you name it! We are helping Florida feed itself by creating local, organic, and abundant food systems.
