Franco-Prussian War Revolver Restoration (found underwater)

We found this revolver while magnet fishing in southern France.

Judging by its condition, it had been submerged in water for several decades.
The gun was damaged, but we decided to preserve it by removing the rust, making it functional, and protecting the metal for display on the wall.

Given its condition, we decided not to contact the police. It is classified as a Category D firearm.
