The ANZACs

The ANZACs were the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps who fought in the Gallipoli Campaign during World War I. The campaign was an attempt to secure a sea route to Russia through the Dardanelles, but it ultimately failed, and the ANZACs were evacuated after eight months of fighting.
