JENNA PARR, Fast Rising Christian Rock Singer - Artist Interview "Break Me", "Made For This"

We are extremely pleased to bring you our interview with an incredible up and coming Christian rock singer from Georgia, Jenna Parr! After releasing her second album "Made For This" in 2020, and signed with Broadhead Record Group, Jenna has been working hard creating new music, and performing before an ever growing fanbase! With a vocal style reminiscent of Evanescence or Fireflight, and with songs such as "Break Me", "Made For This", and "The Runaway", she's on the verge of taking the music industry by storm!

Brian talks with Jenna about a wide range of topics including touring, using her music as a ministry, shifting from a pop sound to her first love of rock music, and working on new material! Like us, you'll come to find that Jenna is not only a supremely talented singer and songwriter, but a genuinely fun and caring person as well!

Jenna Parr is a rising Christian Rock artist creating music inspired by her faith and her love of 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s rock. Her unique style of rock music has landed her high in the Christian Rock charts with her breakout singles. “Made For This” reached the top 40 on the charts and is the title track of her 2020 album. “Break Me” reached a high of #11 on the national Christian Music Weekly (CMW) chart. It was #1 for 8 weeks straight and voted Song of the Year on ChristianRock.net. “Those Eyes” also reached #11 on CMW and was #1 on ChristianRock.net for 5 weeks straight. Jenna’s 2020 success continued with her rock cover of the Christmas song “Mary, Did You Know?” when it reached the top 30 on CMW as well. In 2021 her single “The Runaway” hit #15 on CMW, climbed up the Big Big Hits Rock chart, BBH Breaking Hits chart, and also spent 5 weeks at #1 on ChristianRock.net! All of these songs also hit #1 on the Cornerstone Christian Radio/He Will Rock You Radio Show chart over in the U.K.!! Along with generating a large radio presence, Jenna’s lyric and music videos accompanying these songs have gained tens of thousands of views on YouTube and FaceBook.

Jenna got her start leading worship at her home church in the small town of Blackshear, Georgia. She grew up in church and always took every chance she could get to perform. Around age 13, she gave her heart to the Lord, and by 15, she was pursuing a professional music career. At 17, Jenna put out her first EP, and the following year, she graduated Salutatorian of her graduating class. Enduring much backlash, she chose to continue her music career full time instead of going to college.
