Several people injured when car slams into crowd on busy Jerusalem street, suspected terror attack

JERUSALEM – Several people were injured Monday when a vehicle crashed into a crowd on one of the busiest streets in Israel, officials said. Israeli Police said several people were injured, and a suspect is in police custody. Police, eyewitnesses and other news outlets are saying the incident appears to a possible terror attack. The incident occurred hours before Israel is set to observe its Memorial Day, known as Yom HaZikaron, to remember its fallen soldiers and those who died in terror attacks.
