Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Hardware Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. As an IT Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware components of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement IT hardware solutions that meet business requirements
Install, configure, and maintain hardware components including servers, storage systems, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components
Develop and maintain hardware deployment and maintenance procedures
Monitor hardware performance and identify and resolve hardware issues
Collaborate with software engineers, network engineers, and other IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems
Participate in the planning and implementation of new hardware projects
Stay up-to-date with new hardware technologies and best practices
Maintain hardware inventory and asset management records
Provide technical support to end-users and other IT staff
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Several years of experience in IT hardware engineering and infrastructure design
Strong understanding of computer hardware and components including servers, storage systems, and network devices
Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure components
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with network protocols and standards
Knowledge of IT security and data privacy best practices
Preferred:

Experience with cloud-based infrastructure technologies
Experience with virtualization technologies
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
Professional certification in relevant technologies such as Cisco, Microsoft, or VMware
