In the late 1800s a Jerusalem shopkeeper and antiquities dealer claimed to have purchased a series of sixteen ancient parchments from Bedouin living east of the Dead Sea, where they found them in a cave. The text was in Paleo-Hebrew and consisted of an abbreviated version of the biblical book of Deuteronomy. If genuine it would be the most important biblical manuscript find in all of history. In a veritable mystery saga, the fragments mysteriously vanished, but it's quite possible that some of them survived and may one day resurface. If so, the world of biblical scholarship will literally be turned on its head! Thanks to AI technology, we can now revisit this case and get acquainted with some of the characters involved in this incredible mystery saga!Torah Learning Channel provides Orthodox Torah Teachings for both Jewish and Non-Jewish (Noahides).
