I've been on a quest to find field watches. Specifically affordable automatic 40mm field watches. They are rather elusive, but this is one that popped on my radar a month ago. The Victorinox Officers Watch. Model 241369.
Spec wise it seems to be perfect. 40mm, Swiss made, Eta movement, Sapphire Crystal, and I got it for $200. But there is just one problem.

Regarding Massdrop:
As I mentioned I got this off Massdrop. If your not familiar, this is how they work. Massdrop has a different selection of items (watches and other gear) up every week. They refer to them as drops that are up for a limited time. You agree to pay a certain price for the watch, then when the drop is over they place a bulk order with the manufacturer. Once they get the item, they ship it to you. It usually takes a month or so before you get your watch, but they usually have good prices. Although they are a grey market dealer.
The link below is a referral link, so if your not comfortable with that then just type the name in your web browser to check them out.

Note: Some of the links above are affiliate links, I am an Amazon affiliate so I would earn a small commission on qualified purchases. But most of the time Amazon is just the best source to link something just to get a look. I always encourage you to shop around and find the best price.

In Addition, I'm also an affiliate with AVI-8, Armilla, Aliexpress, Spinnaker, eBay, Jomashop, and Phoibos.
