IGNITION: COMPROMISED MISSION DATA
(TITUS 1:10-16)

'For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party. One of the Cretans, a prophet of their own, said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.” They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach. This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, not devoting themselves to Jewish myths and the commands of people who turn away from the truth. To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure; but both their minds and their consciences are defiled. They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.'

II. THE CRETAN PARADOX
• AS WE CONTINUE IN THE TEXT WE COME TO A VERY VITAL INDICATOR OF ISSUES!
• WHAT IS THE CRETAN PARADOX? (EXPOUND)
• HOW HAS THIS AFFECTED THE CHURCH TODAY?
• WHAT IS THE ANSWEER TO THIS PARADOX?
• LISTEN TO (JOHN 14:6). WHAT A POWERFUL REVELATION!

III. THE UNSPOKEN COMMANDMENTS! (EXO. 20:3-17)
• FIRST OF ALL THERE ARE NO UNSPOKEN COMMANDMENT!!! THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL 5!!!
• PAUL ADDRESS THE FACT THAT MANY OF THE JEWS WERE ADDING STIPULAITONS (THINGS) TO THE LAW.
• WHATS THE PROBLEM WITH ADDING THINGS?

IV. SHINNING A LIGHT ON THE PROBLEM! (I JOHN 1:5-10)
I. AS WE CONTINUE TO EXAMINE OUR TEXT WE SEE THAT FALSE TEACHERS AND DOCTRINE ARE LEADING TO MISINFORMATION!
