The Holocaust Museum, Saint Petersburg Fl. This is Cal O'Ween!
Today and for all of May, to commemorate both the victims and Survivors of The Holocaust and the Jewish community as a whole, we will be visiting The Holocaust Museum in downtown Saint Petersburg. The Holocaust began January 30, 1933 and ended May 8, 1945 and was by far one of the most horrific and tragic events to happen in in history. It is estimated that about 11 million perished in 44,000 concentration camps and incarceration sites sprawled across German territories. The resilience of the Jewish people and the commitment to their faith through the most torturous event in history remains to me nothing short of inspiring. God bless their precious souls.
