This is an interview we've been waiting a LONG time for, one of our absolutely favorite bands, the incredible LILIAC!! Originally from Los Angeles, and now living in Georgia, @LILIACBAND is comprised of the five young Cristea siblings: Melody (lead vocals and guitar), Samuel (lead guitar), Abigail (drums), Ethan (bass), and Justin (keyboards). This family knows how to bring the heat, with a hard hitting sound that is reminiscent of metal legends like Metallica and Ronnie James Dio.

Brian talks with Liliac about a wide range of topics like how the band formed, what it's like working together as a family, their musical inspirations, their experience with America's Got Talent, and much, much more! We especially want to extend our gratitude to the band's manager and father, Florin Cristea, for helping us to make this interview a reality! The entire Cristea family are generous, kind, and humble people that you can't help but want to see continue to succeed. This interview took place at BMI Center in Versailles, Ohio. You can find out more on BMI Center by visiting their website at:

Among their numerous phenomenal rock and metal covers are Metallica's "Enter Sandman", Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", and Ronnie James Dio's "Holy Diver". The latter showcases lead singer Melody Cristea's uncanny ability to channel the vocal chops and attitude of Dio! Also be sure to check out their fantastic original work, such as "Chain of Thorns", "We Are the Children", "Crazy Nights", and Brian's favorite "Sail Away".

As discussed in the interview, Liliac has set up a GoFundMe account to help raise funds to build a home studio, which will allow for them to continue to bring us incredible music! To find out more and donate to the cause, visit:

Here's the lyrics for Liliac's "We Are The Children", which plays in the outro of this video:

"Everytime I close my eyes I see the night again
And all the dreams I have I hear the sound of angels cry
Take me back I need to find those distant memories
Hold on close or we might fall right through it all

All my life I've been searching for
For a better world, but time has let me down
Here we stand on this broken land
Raise my head up high, I can see the sun!!!

We are the children
We're the fire in the sky
And we are the future
Our souls in the night
Will never die

Feel the change, it seems it's like the same old day to me
Nothing here I have to leave before they capture me

All my life I've been searching for
For a better world, but time has let me down
Here we stand on this broken land
Raise my head up high, I can see the sun

We are the children
We're the fire in the sky
We are the future
Our souls in the night
Will never die

All my life I've been searching for
For a better world, but you have let me down
Here we stand on this broken land
Raise your head up high, can you see the sun?

We are the children
We're the fire in the sky
We are the future
Our souls in the night
Will never die

We are the children
Begging for the light
And we are the lost
Nothing is left anymore."
