Fixing your dji mic to your insta360 x3 camera. Plus the mic settings you need to change.

Hello there.
So youve got an insta360 x3 camera and you want to use your dji wireless micro phone. There is no way to attach your mic to the camera without it spoiling your videos. Until now that it.
As i found A new company by the name of xmount360 (link in description)
They have come up with a 3D printed mount for the mic reciever.

If you have used the dji mic on your gopro media mode like i have you’ll have to remove the little clip.

Just screw attach it by screwing in a selfie stick.

Plug in the microphone adapter, and the little wire cable.

You can get this short cable from mount 360 as part of the mounting bracket bundle for $39 us.

Now to adjust the recording levels you can either do it at the reciever and from the camera.

Let’s start at the camera. Swipe down on the screen for the main menu -

Scroll down until you see the external mic gain adjuster. I find the default settings to be perfect 0db. But if you feel its need adjusting you can increase or decrease the gain settings here.

Go to the mic, you can change the gain levels of the mic and receiver independently. If you are using two mics and you feel one mic is a little high or too low you can adjust it here.
Or you can boost the receiver levels .
I find that the default levels are perfect
