Brian's back to interview another incredible artist, Fight the Fade lead singer Zene Smith! @FightTheFade is a fantastic Christian rock band, signed to FiXT Music, has released two EPs and three full length albums, the latest being 2020's "In Love. In Hope. In Peace." They perfectly mix rock with elements of metal and electronic music on masterpieces like "Cut & Run", "Legacy", "Over and Over", and Brian's favorite "Devil". If you are a fan of Linkin Park, you'll love Fight the Fade!

Zene talks with Brian about the joy of performing at festivals for fans and other artists he loves, mixing his role with the band with his full time position as a worship leader at a church, his excitement over the fact that he'll have a new addition to the family soon, and so much more.

This interview took place at Kingdom Come 2021 in Greentown, IN. Here are the lyrics to Fight the Fade's song "Matter of Time", as featured in the outro of this video:

"It's exhausting trying to understand
Your intentions and your master plan
I'm running a race that I can't win
'Cause I'm on eggshells with every step

The sands of time are running low
(Revolution's coming for you)
Once they're gone, watch this unfold

The iron's hot
If you're ready or not
(We'll strike)
You'll learn you're not immune
It's a matter of time
'Til you face your crimes
(You'll find)
Your numbered days are few

You can only run so far
Until your heart caves in
Because once the truth comes out
You'll learn who are your real friends

The sands of time are running low
(Revolution's coming for you)
Once they're gone, watch this unfold

The iron's hot
If you're ready or not
(We'll strike)
You'll learn you're not immune
It's a matter of time
'Til you face your crimes
(You'll find)
Your numbered days are few

It's a matter of time (time)
Until you find (find)
That I'm done crying (crying)
Yeah today I choose
I'm coming after you
(Coming after you)

The iron's hot
If you're ready or not
(We'll strike)
You'll learn you're not immune
It's a matter of time
'Til you face your crimes
(You'll find)
Your numbered days are few

Your numbered days are few
(It's a matter of time)
(It's a matter of time)
Your numbered days are few"
