Soil Factory adding compost into a raised garden bed

Bokashi breaks food scraps down with an anaerobic process essentially pickling the food scraps. After a month of sitting in a soil factory the scraps are super charged with good soil microbes and bacteria which helps to further breakdown the scraps turning them into a soil full of life.

Bokashi was made by adding food scraps to a 5 gallon container. Plus using a bokashi inoculated bran to add the lactobacillus bacteria to the food scraps. It’s layered and once full allow to sit for a minimum of 2 weeks for the bacteria to start breaking down the food scraps

After the 2 week minimum mix the contents of the 5 gallon bucket with equal parts compost or soil. In a large container add about 5 gallon bucket worth of soil or compost, then add your mixture of bokashi and soil, finally top with another 5 gallons of compost or soil. Allow the compost and soil to breakdown contents for 4 weeks.
After this time we are adding the contents of the tote into the raised garden bed to finish breakdown completely for another few weeks (3-5) before planting seedlings above the mixture.
