Joel Vaughn grew up pursuing this passion- To create music and share the hope of Jesus to whoever would listen. Joel started singing in church when he was 7-years-old, then later began to lead worship in his church. In college He was a part of a worship team that traveled and soon began to pursue full time music ministry. Joel started writing & recording his own songs in his bedroom and later converted his garage in Texas into a recording studio. He performed at coffee shops, churches, restaurants, and lead worship services several nights of the week while he was still in school. Before He knew it He was touring nationally. His music started to gain attention and was played on different media outlets all over the world before He even signed a record deal. In 2015 He was nominated for “The Next Big Thing” award by New Release Today’s We Love Christian Music Awards. The following year He signed his first record deal with Dream Records and things took off. Since then, Joel has consistently had his songs appear and chart on Billboard and Mediabase during his career. Songs like- Wide Awake, As You Are, Pray It Up, More Than Good Enough, I Look To You, I Would Be Lost, and Already Done were all radio hits and also gained millions of streams on services like Spotify and Amazon Music. With an ever changing music industry Joel strives to be an innovative artist that writes catchy hooks that are fun and engaging yet share deep theological truths.
