FRANKY PEREZ, Incredible APOCALYPTICA Touring Vocalist and Solo Rock Artist - Artist Interview

If you're a fan of the instrumental rock powerhouse APOCALYPTICA, or of the epic FX drama SONS OF ANARCHY, then you've heard the smooth voice of today's guest, the one and only FRANKY PEREZ! As a member of a number of phenomenal groups and with his own solo career, Franky is one of the top in demand singers in the world! Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Franky has released 5 solo albums, with the latest releasing June 24th, 2002, "Crossing the Great Divide". Franky is also releasing a documentary of the same name which chronicles his motorcycle travel across the US during the COVID pandemic, so be sure to keep your eyes out for that fantastic film!

Brian talks with Franky about performing not only with the legendary Apocalyptica, but also as a member of SCARS ON BROADWAY, with SLASH AND FRIENDS, and of course his own successful solo career. They also discuss the thrill of having his songs ("Love Is My Religion" and "Los Tiempos Van Cambiando", which is a Spanish language cover of Bob Dylan's classic "The Times They Are A-Changin'") being featured in Sons of Anarchy, performing all over the world including Siberia, and much more!

Franky Perez is an American musician best known as a solo artist, touring vocalist of Finnish metal band Apocalyptica, and as former guitarist for Scars on Broadway. He has also released three solo albums, Poor Man's Son, My 4th of July and Addict, and performed with guitarist Slash in his live band before Slash assembled the touring band that backed him during his first full solo tour with Myles Kennedy. Perez has also collaborated with Slash's VR bandmate Dave Kushner, releasing songs under the pseudonym of DKFXP, as well as the virtual band Pusher Jones, contributing the song "Count Me Out" to The Avengers soundtrack.

Perez has performed with a number of all star cover bands over the years including Camp Freddy, Ducati All-Stars, Royal Machines and Kings of Chaos. As of 2014, Perez is the singer of Finnish metal band Apocalyptica.

He is currently singing with supergroup Deadland Ritual.
