George Orwell once said something to the effect that telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
The Dissident was written about 20 years ago forecasting a time that speaking the truth and doing good would be considered an act of sedition; the time seems to have arrived. Be glad when you are persecuted for righteousness sake and rejoice.

Years ago I wrote a number of songs, most of which spent their existence as a stack of marked up papers in a closet. Years later I felt I should do something with some of them before letting them go, so I recorded them on a Spire to share.
