As the boycott against Bud Light, the beer company, continues, the contentious marketing executive who oversaw Bud Light's collaboration with Dylan Mulvaney has taken a leave of absence.

According to Ad Age, Todd Allen, who was most recently the global marketing VP for Budweiser, will succeed Alissa Heinerscheid, who has served as the brand's marketing vice president since June 2022.

Heinerscheid stated in a March 23 interview for the Make Yourself At Home podcast that the brand was in decline and that they needed to "attract young drinkers... or there will be no Bud Light," which prompted the contentious collaboration with trans TikToker Dylan Mulvaney.
