TOUGHEST CHALLENGE EVER? Today we take on a challenge I was sure I would fail. We have the worlds biggest bbq sandwich challenge - a pulled pork sandwich made with 24lb of pork (precooked weight), and a giant multipound brioche bun which was a couple inches thick and had a larger diameter than an XL pizza. Similar to a Hawaiian sandwich challenge but missing the pineapple. We are at Legends Tavern and Grill in Plantation FL taking on a giant florida food challenge. This is the worlds biggest pulled pork sandwich and was not for the faint of heart. We were in the quest for the $250 sandwich for free, and the legendary food challenge win in the 90 minute time limit. This was a braised "bbq pulled pork" which they top with a signature bbq sauce and is a larger version of their traditional pulled pork sandwich on the menu and served with a normal size coleslaw. This is a very large bbq challenge, and while it was not a bbq platter challenge, it had more meat than you would expect for this crazy sandwich challenge. The sandwich did not weight 24lb+. The total sandwich probably weighed around 14-15lb if I had to guess, but while I do not know a final weight, it was made with the meat from 3 pork shoulders (24lbs precooked) plus the giant bun, sauce, juices added to moisten and heat, etc!Show more
