This was the day I said NEVER AGAIN. I originally recorded this to decompress and share it with family. I had seen my mother 2 days before and had come back with Christmas decorations for her room. The home's entrance has double doors for screening, so there I was showing my result again only to be told that it had expired, and I couldn't enter.

I was in shock and asked to speak to a manager. She came with an initial softness in her eyes (again the only part of her that could be seen), but the "I have to do my job" tone. Her message was the same. I stood there realizing that "THEY" had the power to deny ME access to my mother in that moment. Of course, this was nothing new - for six months, ALL family and friends were denied access to their loved one's HOME (much longer in other locations). I fought that initial fight, calling city councillors, my member of parliament, whomever would answer. But the usual line was for the sake of keeping others safe, oh, I mean my loved one😌 it was for the best.

During that period and on that day when I was once again on the OUTSIDE, I thought, we didn't sign up for this - CARE, YES, BUT NOT THIS! Ì turned on my heel with anger and pain in my heart, I went to my car, and I recorded this video, thinking how someone else would be putting up my decorations.

That was the day I said, NEVER AGAIN. My mother was in the system and while staff have been like family that day taught me that at any given moment, they could decide to deny me access "because of Public Health" and therefore, it was necessary for me to let go at another level. The following year, the Essential Caregiver designation was put in place to permit assigned individuals access no matter what. Oh, I mean, until the vaccine was introduced.

I know many of you have faced a variety of personal horrors during the height of the pandemic. As we continue to navigate the Great Reset, I appreciate different individuals bringing to bear what's on their radar to prepare for what's ahead like the banking system, farming, etc. Here's mine: just know that whatever you cherish will be used against you. You better decide some things in your heart from now before it happens.
