Riding a Siemens 700 Series Blue Line T Train from Government Center to Wonderland

Recorded on 3/31/23. After an amazing meal at Filipos, me and William ventured all the way out to Wonderland to ride some very lovely elevators. This gave me the opportunity to ride the Blue line. The blue line is very neat because the blue line trains utilize two power sources like the Kawasaki M8 trains on the Metro North Railroad. This is a setup done on purpose because the blue line runs very close to the Atlantic Ocean and having third rail is not plausible for the conditions next to the ocean. So the trains change power sources at Logan International Airport Station from third rail to overhead electricity for outbound trains and vise versa for inbound trains. This is a really neat experience! Definitely worth checking out. Enjoy!
