Speaking Against Proposed Gun Show Ban - Kitsap County, Washington - 11/14/22

Gun shows could soon become a thing of the past in Kitsap County, Washington, where activists are pushing commissioners to ban gun shows from the county fairgrounds all other government-owned property. But we all know that criminals aren’t holding off their crime sprees because they couldn’t trot down to the local gun show and pick up a weapon. The “gun show loophole” is a myth. All banning gun shows does is limit the ability of law-abiding gun owners the ability to protect their family, community, and loved ones. In fact, the previous commenters perfectly illustrate that gun free zones don’t work, and that gun shows are not the direct cause of gun crime. What works is having responsible, trained, law-abiding gun owners wiling to protect their community and their homes.
