NY Governor Cries "Conspiracy" Over Crime Concerns - Spike on Kennedy - 10/31/22

We’ve seen over and over that something that a lot of things being denied and called a conspiracy often have been, or will be proven, true eventually. Of late, the word has been used as code for “don’t talk about this thing.” Crime is, in fact, a growing problem, crime is up 4-6% depending on what report you read, as are homicides and car thefts. We’re being told by both Republicans and Democrats that we have two options. The first is to let people go and not do much of anything, the second is to criminalize everything except police misconduct and hold people in jail indefinitely. What we need to be doing is ceasing arrest and prosecution of victimless crimes and focusing instead on crimes where there is a clear victim like assault and theft.
