I worked as an extraction technician for a shirt period od fmtime.formone of the largest companies in the United States, whose name I'll leave out here. I was let go because I was able to intuit understanding about the VTA wipe and was able to run the supercritical on my fifth day and make rso by myself. So I was told "we know you know more than you told us when we hired you" and I was fired. It was a bit more complex, the management abandoned his position being butthurt, forcing me to run the system by myself, and I did. I got looks bc I finished the exam to work the supercritical three hours early and the boss acted angry about that.
Then there was the management who abandoned his night shift post for over an hour leaving us locked out, then abandoned his post all night, and I had been there a week, he got butthurt because I asked him why ginger snap was labeled hybird, because there was only 3 options to list the weed. Part of my job was filling out that specific paper, so I needed to understand it, they just wanted me to write and shut up.
I asked one day about the nozzle on the co2 because the tag for on/off was worn off, I was told to read the Human Interface. . . Which says 'turn b knob' literally. I was inquiring incase anything ever happened, ya know like the management not being present during a processing and an emergency happen.... luckily we had no emergencies because I knew what I was doing, my trainer sat and watched. The manager thought he could bail and I would be stuck, and get fired for not having g yhe work done..... but he showed up and I was harvesting cannabinoids.
The boss said to me, "are you gonna work over the hour u were late." I said " yes I can but I wasn't late an hour, ur management abandoned me all night. " I finished my work and was fired without cause. Amazing company..... I advoc8 for the people.to grow, for the people to sell, not multi million dollar corporations and legislation setting a half million dollar financial barrier to entry just to play the industrial cannabis game. MARYLAND HAS No MOM and pop shops, it's sad.. .
