Here is one that’s a little different, a true blue roan that’s 15 hands tall. Blues Clues has all the looks you can ask for and is absolutely gentle and safe for anyone! This gelding goes back to the great Smart Little Lena! Don’t let his size fool you, Blues Clues was started as a cutter and can really get down on a cow. Super quick footed, this gelding has all the talent in the world. Blues Clues is only 5 years old and is a finished heel horse and is started on the head side. Blues Clues has a nice move on the corner and is a huge stopper. He leaves the box flat and smooth and will run to the same spot each run. He’s strong from the horn and can handle big steers. He has no bad habits and is always honest. He’s good in the box and has been roped on by all levels of ropers. He’s consistent and you can run a lot of steers on him. We have hauled him to jackpots and World Series events. We bought this gelding as a three-year-old and have done about everything you can do on one horseback. This gelding is absolutely gentle and will ride for anyone that can hold his reins. He has been ridden around our ranch by small children. He can have months without riding and he saddles up gentle every time. Blues Clues has been ridden by city dudes and beginners out in the Fort Worth Stockyards and on the trails all over north TX. He’s dependable and as honest as the day is long. Blues Clues is an amazing ranch horse. This gelding has been used on a big cow and buffalo operation in western Canada. He’s been ridden all over all sorts of terrain and will go anywhere you point him. This gelding will step over any obstacle on the trail and crosses water with ease. We have doctored and sorted lots of cows on him. He’s a willing partner and very handy in all aspects of ranch work. This gelding has a puppy dog disposition and sweet personality. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He gets along in any type of environment and is very easy to own. Blues Clues has been around our ranch a long time and he is the barn favorite.
