Ipswich Greyhound Race Rigging

Ipswich Greyhound Racing Club committee members Merv Page, Arnold Dull, Rob Whittington, and Sam Brady, along with IGRC employee Noel Weber, conspire to move the 431 metre start boxes in a race rigging plot. But when it begins to surface that the boxes were moved the blame is pinned on deceased trainer Tom Paterson.

Tom's wife Larraine defends his name and gets bullied out of her position of Vice President of the club. Larraine takes the matter to the Greyhound Racing Authority (now Racing Queensland) but instead of investigate a federal offence, they refuse to look at Larraines evidence and sit on their hands instead.

This story exemplifies the classic bullying and intimidation tactics corrupted enterprise within the Greyhound Racing Industry will use to protect their criminal profiteering.
