Born and Raised in the Valley, the self-described "black, gay woman" joins Jesse to discuss her powerfully traumatic life's memoir. Denayja, who is in her thirties, claims to have grown up in a "racially segregated" neighborhood! This negatively impacted her self-image, which ultimately sent her on a downward spiral toward addiction.
