Gaining a Sense of Purpose

We do need a sense of purpose. It is both closer and farther than we believe: closer than we would like to know; farther than we would like to reach.

Our purpose lies within our potential. So, we have to bring that potential out. This is called "self-actualization", and it is the highest "need" on Abraham Maslow's famous Hierarchy of Needs. What is preventing you from giving yourself credit for the potential you are already actualizing? What is preventing you from actualizing the potential you have access to?

Spoiler alert -- mental health, and moral courage.
