Stop the All Ages Drag Show In Warrensburg

Our Children are our greatest asset, and our primary duty in life is to protect them. Until very recently, it was a given that children's exposure to sexual material or performances of any kind was prohibited. We, as a society, sought to protect their innocence at all costs. In the last few years, groups have challenged this idea in ways we never expected. Across our Nation, groups have promoted “Drag Queen Story Time” and now the even more explicit “Drag Shows for Children.” Unfortunately, our local community is not immune from this alarming trend. The last two years, “Drag Shows for Children” were held right here in Johnson County, and on June 3rd, a group plans to hold another at the Meadows Rental Venue (aka. Elks Lodge) in Warrensburg. Our community was caught off guard before, but after seeing 40+ children exposed to this abuse last year, we, as concerned citizens, have organized to demand that this year’s event be restricted to adults 18 and older or canceled.
