WATCH: 15th St. Crash Sends One Driver to the Hospital
SAN ANGELO – One driver was injured in a three vehicle crash at the intersection of 15th St. and N. Bryant Friday morning.
According to San Angelo Police Dept. Traffic Division Investigating Officer at the scene, a red Mercedes SUV was northbound on Bryant while a blue Mercury sedan was eastbound on 15th at the stop sign. At the same time, a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup was stopped at the stop sign westbound on 15th.
Officer Long says the driver of the Mercury failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the intersection. The red SUV then crashed into the Mercury, which spun around and hit the pickup.
The driver of the Mercedes SUV was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the Mercury was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way. Each vehicle was occupied only by a driver.
