Satisfaction with US Education Drops to 42% - Spike on Kennedy - 9/7/22 - pt1

Far from being the best as Chris Hahn asserts, the US ranks 25th or 30th best in education despite spending more money on education than almost any other country. The Department of Education has spent over 3 trillion dollars, yet on every metric; graduation rates, GPA, and literacy, we’ve kept sliding down. Government monopoly makes things worse, it’s time to get government out of the education business. We need to abolish the Department of Education and return the money the government has stolen to the parents and let them choose the school they think best for their children. You’ll notice that Teachers Unions vehemently oppose school choice, why should they? If the parents are happy with the school, why would they pull their children. Even they know, if given a choice, the parents would vote with their dollars and take their children elsewhere.
