22226/Solapur – Mumbai Vande Bharat Express | Journey | Pune Jn – Dadar Station | 15 April 2023

Train No 22226/Vande Bharat Express or Originally known as Train 18 is India's 9th Vande Bharat Express train, running across the state of Maharashtra. This train Manufactured by the the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) is the newer version of this train aka Vande Bharat 2.0 (VB2). This Vande Bharat train can reach a maximum speed of 180 km/h (110 mph). It can accelerate to a speed of 100 km/h (62 mph) in 52.6 seconds and reach its maximum speed in 145 seconds.
The Solapur – Mumbai – Solapur Vande bharat Express was Inaugurated on 10th February 2023. It covers a total distance of 445kms in about 6 hrs 30 mins halting at four Stops 1) Kurduvadi, 2) Pune Junction, 3) Kalyan Junction, 4) Dadar Central.
In My Journey Onboard, this Train arrived at Pune Junction at 9:20 am and at Dadar central at 12:38 pm. The Total fare Per Person for the AC Chair Car from Pune Jn to Dadar is Rs 908/- minus the catering Charge. The Coaches have a Nice Ambience and big Windows pulling in a lot of Light. Seats are Spacious with adequate legroom. As the train have rare halts and doors remain closed, no crowds seen and the people hoping in or out are less compared to other trains. Like all Modern LHB trains, Washroom have both options traditional as well as Western. Being a Premium train Washroom and even the Overall train is much Cleaner and gives a modern India Feel.
