Like us, God has unique characteristics, one of these is he is Omniscient, he knows everything. His knowledge transcends time. Therefore, God alone has the ability to tell exact details of events that will happen in the future, written thousands of years before they happen. Isaiah 46:9-10 declares this part of the God’s nature. This is God response to an atheistic, skeptical and materialistic world. The evidence of God existence is available for any who are seeking it. The Seventy Weeks of Daniel and other prophecies evidence that the God of the Bible is the only True God.

Isaiah 46:9-10 ESV
(9) remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me,
(10) declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’

God proves who He is by Bible Prophecy, God alone (None like me) knows what the “End” is from the “Beginning”. He know what is going to happen, so in Bible Prophecy he proves His identity by proclaiming what is going to happen. He reveals these future events through His prophets, people like Moses, Samuel, David, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zechariah Ezekiel, Paul and John. These men are writing what God knows, God is speaking through them, revealing the future. They are pens in the hand of God.
God reveals minute details of these future events. For example; Daniel lived from about 620 BC to 530 BC, a span of 90-years, but Daniel reveals events hundreds and thousands of years in the future. In Daniel 9;24-27, a prophecy known as the Seventy (70) weeks of Daniel. God through Daniel reveals the Blueprint for Bible prophecy. In this prophecy Daniel reveals the Exact time:
• The day Jesus the Messiah would be killed, 539-years before his birth.
• The destruction of Jerusalem and Temple in AD 70, after the death of Messiah
• A Period of Desolation
• The Third Temple and events that would follow.

Bible Prophecy proves the identity of God and links Him with His revelation, the Bible, this answers the atheist and skeptic which rejects the existence of God.

The Power of Bible Prophecy:
Apart from the Bible our understanding of the world is based on human intellect and experience. God's knowledge transcends our understanding. For example, in Isaiah 53, God clearly explains the coming of the Servant, who will be rejected by his own people (Israel), this same servant will be beaten and killed, yet he will pay for the sins of the whole world. This is clearly explained in Isaiah chapter 53, 700-years before the birth of Jesus, yet still many people dont examine the evidence of Bible prophecy.

Why is this important? Because if the Bible is so accurate on future of events of history, then it can be trusted to reveal the reality of our eternal destiny. The Bible teaches we are eternal beings made in the image of God. We have an eternal destiny. Heaven and Hell are real places, Jesus tells us in Matthew 25: Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. The Bible teaches how we can have eternal life through Jesus Christ. The Evidence of the Truth of the BIble is through Prophecy.
