Ohio River named 'second-most endangered river' in U.S.

For more than 5 million people, the Ohio River is a source of drinking water. Now, nonprofit American Rivers has named the Ohio River the second-most endangered river in the country. The sources of pollution for the river come from mining, manufacturing and chemical production. Those concerned want to create a restoration plan similar to plans that improved conditions in the Great Lakes.
