Indeed, the past reckless attempts by some of their politicians to decouple their country from world's No. 2 biggest & still rising economy China would be "disastrous" for them. I believe the ideal scenario for the whole world is friendly competition, more trade, increased cooperation, nonstop dialogues among all countries, less wars & less wasteful military expenditures.
