Real Coletivo Dub was formed from an invitation to compose a song for the movie Sobreviver, by David Pimentel.

The group mixes Brazilian rhythms with Jamaican influences, with hip-hop, dub and verses that translate and question the current Brazilian society, besides lyrics related to awakening consciousness.

With more than 7 years of career, Real Coletivo Dub has performed alongside great icons of Brazilian music such as B Negão, Black Alien, Hélio Bentes, MundoLivre S/A, Nação Zumbi, Dazaranha, and O Rappa. They have performed at the main venues in the country (Circo Voador RJ, Sesc Pompéia SP, Teatro Odisséia RJ, John Bull Curitiba/Florianópols, Pedreira Paulo Leminski, among others), and in major national and international festivals (Lupaluna, The One Festival - Canary Islands ES, Sala Clamores - Madrid ES, Virada Cultural de Curitiba).

In 2007, Real Coletivo Dub recorded their first album, with the same name, produced by Xandão Meneses (O Rappa).
