TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Morocco defeated Iran 4-3 in the final of the 2022 Continental Futsal Championship on Friday 16 /09/2022.

Ahmad Abbasi and Hossein Tayebi (two goals) scored for Iran.

Youssef Jawad (two goals), Khalid Bouzid and Ismail Wadouh scored for Morocco.

The competition was organized by Thailand’s Football Association (FAT) in Bangkok between September 11 and 16.

Iran competed in the Tournament as part of preparation for the 2022 Asian Futsal Championship that will take place from September 25 to October 20 in Kuwait.

Team Melli has been drawn in Group C along with Lebanon, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia.
