Canada: Experts urge the federal government to take action on the prevention of mass atrocities

At a news conference on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, experts call on the federal government and its international allies to exercise leadership in the prevention of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and other mass atrocity crimes worldwide. Taking part in this event are Kyle Matthews (the executive director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies), Savita Pawnday (the executive director of the Global Center for the Responsibility to Protect), and Christopher Tuckwood (the executive director of the Sentinel Project).
