Public opinion of the government has been in decline since George W. Bush's second term and has hit historic lows with 80% of Americans no longer trusting the government according to the latest PEW research poll. Americans are ready for a third party, and with the record numbers of Libertarians holding local offices in the county, people are starting to see that Republicans and Democrats are just both sides of the same coin. The theater of opposition is staged to keep us blind to the fact that they're using their power to enrich their cronies who support both sides. Growing at the local level, showing how Libertarianism works, building that base is how the liberty movement will grow. Not just Libertarian candidates, but liberty-minded candidates are the key to growing a freer country.
