Flood Mitigation

There needs to be many new things done to assist in preventing communities from being inundated with flood waters. Essentially, we need find ways to remove water from the rivers. One of the better ways to remove water from our rivers is to create off-river dams in very strategic locations and in our cities, we need to sink deep shafts as water storages along streams that can potentially inundate parts of our communities. The inter-connecting of the dams means that we can evacuate water from an area expecting significant potentially flooding rains to areas of low water storage; in this way we can store more water for later use and to keep the rivers healthy by having them flowing from start to finish
