I am not a doctor, researcher, or scientist. I have extensive life experience & over 14 years of studying cannabis both scholastically throughout my psychology bachelor's as well as independently in my spare time

DONT BREAK THE LAW.....ESPECIALLY WHILE YOUR BREAKING THE LAW.
I do not condone the use of cannabis by any person living in a state or territory where local law prohibits the possession or use thereof, not do I recommend the use thereof in said situations.
I do not condone the use of any type of illicit activity or substances, my cannabis use is 100% legal and medicinal. I live in a state where I have medicinal access.
I do not recommend nor condone the burning and or inhalation of any substance, cannabis or otherwise by individuals not legally allowed to have said access & never condone illicit substance use. this includes cannabis in areas under prohibitive laws.
Cannabis Research in the United States has been severely impaired and held up by the Prohibition of cannabis and the draconian laws and statutes of the FDA, DEA, and NIH. Cannabis is still a schedule 1 substance under U.S. rdug classification policy, placing it as being less helpful or worse for you than Cocaine.
Schedule one stipulates that there is absolutely no therapeutic medical value. The FDA states tye same bstances medicinal viability & DEA catforizes & enforces.
Synthetic Cannabinoids is an issue as well as Spice was indeed a synthetic cannabinoid. Prohibition led spice off a cliff. .
If you ban a social substance, which is what most drugs are, people will find a way. During alcohol Prohibition the Mob was created. Al Capone was born of running illicit alcohol , aka bootlegging the liquor across the country. They started Speak easys which were bars hidden behind walls of various stores or buildings.
Moonshine was born of Prohibition. In the Appalachian Mountains where I am from, and where moonshining still continues by farmers in my hometown today and is still illegal, moonshining began as a means of obtaining liquor.
Look to Fentanyl, China was making it, at least it was pure. Now it is being made by the Mexican Cartel.
Cannabis in the United States Developed on the same illicit market, under the pressures of Prohibition just like the above substances, which all ended up more potent and arguably worse in most instances. Myrcene amplification is my name concern, as this Terpene has inadvertently been exponentially amplified & is one which effect canna experience intensely.
Beta mYrcene appears in levels that bypass the balancing aspects of the cannabis by exponential levels. The expectations of users on US market also impacted this inadvertent amplification. People expect a skunky stinky citrus aroma. Partially because of the presence of Low quality Mexican Brick Pack Cannabis, weed compressed of very low quality and muled to the states.
While all this happens, since 2001, researchers have sought rights to grow cannabis bc the cannabis they have access to, is grown by government contractors at the University of Mississippi and is of the worst quality literally ever. the cannabis available to researchers for study, up until 2020 was so poor it would not pass the standards to which state grown cannabis is held for it to be allowed onto the market.
