France Planning to Ban Photoshop! | Famous News

How many times have you edited a photo, or seen an edited photo? Probably every 5 freaking seconds if you simply open instagram..How would you feel if there were to be a ban on photo editing? Scary or freeing? Well this may be the new reality for France. The country is currently taking a major step in protecting the mental health of its citizens by introducing a new law that will require influencers and other public figures to disclose when their photos have been digitally altered. The law, known as the "France Filter" bill, is aimed at promoting transparency and reducing the negative impact of social media on mental health. The bill requires influencers and other public figures to clearly label any photos that have been digitally enhanced or manipulated with tools such as Photoshop. The labels will read "photographie retouchée" or "retouched photograph" and must be prominently displayed alongside the image.
