McCarthy releases plan on debt ceiling, says Biden has 'no right to play politics' with this issue

U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) today declared that, "House Republicans are taking action to lift the debt limit." Speaker McCarthy went on to explain the benefits the proposed plan would bring to all U.S. citzens, and he examined the political route some Democrats have seemingly taken when it comes to addressing, or rather, ignoring, the urgent debt issue. McCarthy also stated that President Biden and Senator Schumer had "no right to play politics" with this massive debt problem, and that they should instead focus their efforts on reaching a settlement through opening up negotiations again, in order to come together to provide the best outcome and outlook for the greater good, which would yield the best possible results for the majority of the American people.
