Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 New King James Version
9 Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor.
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
For he has no one to help him up.

AND HOW TO BE ONE!!! GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!

There's something about this particular passage in Ecclesiastes, that really challenged my heart, and has been challenging my heart every time I read it, because I can pretty much say, I have very few close and real friends. I have very good friends that I'm separated from by physical distance, but I could always call, e-mail, or text them, and it's like we're still in the same room so to speak. Otherwise, it's very difficult for me to have real friends, because I have been let down and betrayed by others in the past, so I've become very hesitant in this area. I think that's why I'm really challenged by these questions from this morning's devotional, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will challenge you through them as well.

How are you investing time and effort into your friendships?

Who could you welcome into your friendship group now?

What I'd like to do right now, my friends, is share some things that God showed me from his word on what it means to be a friend, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and i pray that it will challenge you as to what it means to be a friend, and that you'll act on it. Come join me in this blog tonight my friends, and learn what it means to be a good and loyal friend! 😊

As I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to challenge you to think of ways in which you could welcome new people into your friendship circle, and do so. Don't let little petty things, like social status, skin color, ethnicity, or any other stupid thing get in the way of you making a new friend. Be willing to step out on a limb, trusting God to help you make the right decisions in who you choose as your friend, and watch how God will use you in that person's life. Remember that true friends can't be rented or bought, so you want to make sure that you truly invest the time that is needed to form those friendships. After all as Proverbs 18:24 states so very well, “A man that hath friends must show himself friendly, and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” Choose to be a real friend to someone today!

UNTIL THURSDAY:

HAVE A SWEET, BLESSED, AND RESTFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
