Galatians 10: Practical Illustrations of Walking by Spirit 6:1-18

SBC Family near and far,

I've attached summary for tonight's verses. Hopefully we will finish Galatians and be heading back to Acts 15 next Wednesday. This will conclude the 1st missionary journey and the 1st letter of Paul. It is very basic. It covers the gospel of justification and sanctification. We are justified by grace through faith at which time we receive the indwelling Spirit. We are sanctified by grace through faith as we walk by the Spirit.

There are three great illustrations of what it looks like to walk by the Spirit in Gal 6. These will give us some ideas of what we our lives look like when we walk by the Spirit, and they all grow out of love for others, which is the first fruit of the Spirit listed and the one from which all the others stem.

Although basic, I hope beneficial, and most of all accurate.

Keep praying for people in our congregation and looking for opportunities to serve, being ready for every good work. Get to know one another. We don't pray for people we don't know.
