Meet the Designer EP1 Ana Espinoza: Field Dog

In this episode, we have the pleasure of introducing Ana Espinoza, the talented designer of the Field Dog and wife of Leo Espinoza, the owner of TOPS Knives. Ana has been an integral part of the TOPS team since 2012, playing various roles within the company and contributing significantly to its growth and success.

Throughout her tenure at TOPS, Ana has been involved in numerous aspects of the company's operations, from cord wrapping handles to overseeing the procurement of all necessary items, including parts, tools, and even paper towels. Her familiarity with every TOPS knife available in the market today speaks volumes about her dedication and commitment to the brand.

It was in 2019 when Ana's creative side shone brightly. One night, while Leo was away at a show, Ana found herself sipping a beer and spontaneously sketching a knife design at the table. This was unusual for her, as she hadn't planned to create a specific type of knife or draw inspiration from an existing design. However, her creativity flowed freely, and the result was the birth of the Field Dog.
