I've started my own organization to expose the corruption around homelessness in Victoria BC. Charities, non-profits & organizations have created a business out of homelessness, Over $500 million per year gets generated in this city alone, but little to nothing actually goes towards the homeless in anyway to improves there quality of life, or create a solid pathway out of poverty or to employment, in fact the system, shelters & homelessness related organizations intentionally stand in the way of progression causing more harm then good, Fraud & misuse of funding are the true causes of pro-longed homelessness in Victiria BC, I spent 7 years homeless in Victoria & am now housed, Ive been employed to several organizations in this city around advocacy, Which led to me creating this organization. Also to educate others of what's truly contributing to poverty and homelessness, what the failures of the system are and what the solutions are, from those who are homeless or overcame homelessness and have the unique experience to really create real change and effect. Giving a new purpose and motivation for those who have experienced poverty all their lives, For us to find a way to have a purpose in our struggle, (Real Lived Experience) which brings true healing. In return brings real change, Which effects the entire community and world as a whole.
