Well she just recently revealed the real reason she left the show. In an interview with The New York Times, barbie opened up about her decision to depart from the series so soon. She said that her character Kat’s departure was due to creative differences with the show's producers. She explained that she felt her character's storylines were becoming repetitive and that she wanted to explore other opportunities, not just being the quote-on-quote “fat friend” in the show.
