☑️ Benefits of Ingredients that I’ve used in this video..
1️⃣ Dates
Dates are enriched with lots of vitamins and minerals. They are essential for your child’s growth. Calcium and magnesium, the minerals that are good for bone health is found in abundance in dates. Potassium, found in dates, is good for child’s brain development and overall growth
2️⃣ Chapati (roti)
Wheat is a good source of vitamin B and other minerals that are essential for the overall development of the body. It also contains chlorophyll that helps in purifying the blood. Vitamins and minerals also help in mental development.
3️⃣ Lentils (Daal)
The natural iron reserves in the body reduce by the time the baby is around six months of age. That is a good time to add iron-rich foods such as lentils to the diet. These foods will help your baby stay active and energetic, besides aiding in brain development (3). Moreover, the low phytic acid content of lentils benefit in increased bioavailability of iron.
4️⃣ Vegetables
Vegetables give your child energy, vitamins, anti-oxidants, fibre and water. They help protect your child against diseases later in life, including heart disease, stroke and some cancers. A healthy diet means eating lots of vegetables, plus a wide variety of foods from the other main food groups.
