Dongfang DF50SST help!

My scooter keeps shutting off when adding more than a quarter throttle or so. Here are some clips and some explanation. I didn't mention that some stole my exhaust. Could that be part of it? I currently just have a pipe with no muffler.

If anyone could help or give any other ideas or suggestions, you would be greatly appreciated!
